Green Funeral Providers
There are two groups providing direction on green funeral providers – The Green Burial Council (GBC) and Natural End™ Network (NEN). The Green Burial Council certifies funeral service providers that accommodate eco-friendly deathcare. The Natural End™ Network lists funeral directors and cemeteries who sign pledges to provide basic natural services to families.
No Approved Green Funeral Providers in San Diego
The Green Burial Council is building a network of approved providers who are committed to reducing toxins, waste, and carbon emissions. Ask your local funeral home to explore GBC approval. There are several providers in the LA area.
